“Let’s show them who Tendring Volleyball Club is!” -Mark Plotyczer(head coach)

After last weeks successful game against Tamworth Spartans, Tendring Ladies earned their second win in the season playing against Sheffield Hallams. Seemingly easy 3:0 win still meant maintaining a high level of energy and concentration throughout the whole game.

Tendring Ladies dominated the first set with hustling and going after every ball. Libero Eleni Bitadou refuses to let anything hit the floor with insane, agile defensive plays unrivalled. Tendring showed also great service pressure from new opposite hitter Katarina Raicevic. Tendring took the first set 25-16.

In the second set the team started a little rough, but managed to pull themselves together with great spikes coming from Tendring's two middles Milly Smith and Amber Erhahon. Tenring showed great teamwork and won the set 25-19.

The third set was another success for Tendring with great blocks from setter Piyusha Boteju and funky spikes from outside hitter Mechell Daniel. In the third set there were many great substitutions starting from Sarah Edwards scoring from spiking and serving. Also two junior players Holly Bentley and Amy Lane showed what they were capable of coming from the side with enthusiasm and determination. The third set was 25-15 to Tendring.

Tendring women are very proud of their performance and are looking forward to the next game on the 28th of October against Bristol Volleyball Club.
