As the first round of National League is coming to the end your Tendering Ladies faced a big opponent on Saturday in the Major Eagles.
The Tendring ladies came out strong taking the first set 25-21 as their service and service receive game led the charge. The second set proved to be more of a challenge as they fell to the eagles 18-25, 20-25 as the Eagles found their stride out of the middle.
But the Tendring ladies found their game in the fourth set creating some early separation and then dominating from the pins. In the fifth and final set Tendring had a huge block on the outside that gave them momentum for an 8-4 lead at the switch which they rode out for a staggering 15-5 over the Eagles.
COME ON TENDRING!!
Although there were a lot of ups and downs in this game, Tendring ladies showed their heart and grit and pulled out the win!
