Tendring Men's 1st 3 - 1 Leeds

25-13, 25-17, 24-26, 25-16

Report by Derek Sullivan

In a city far far away, where most of team Tendring has to find their own path to the battlefront, Leeds brings in their heavy weaponry. While their imperial hitter swings from the right side, their offence is lead by no other than their dark lord setter. As the battle starts team Tendring comes off with a heavy offence from their cannons. Owen Lamb, whom they call 'Hands', is a solo setter who makes a huge presence with controlling the offence of Tendring.

Polonia 3 - 1 Tendring Ladies

25-16, 25-21, 18-25, 25-20

Report by Chris Frost

It was the first game back from the Christmas break and the last game for one of the players, Fernanda Guimaraes. She would be returning back to Brazil, so a big performance was required to send her off in the right way, as she has helped the club massively not only through her coaching or playing level but by her passing her knowledge onto others.

The second match of the weekend saw Tendring playing Manchester Marvels who currently sit one point away from last place. With a match yesterday, Tendring came out a bit sluggish. You could automatically see that this was going to be a scrappy match, Manchester came out fighting for every ball.
